The city is a variety of constantly changing processes and shaping factors. They appear as sound, smell, color, movement and define our inner images of the city we live in. The way we interact with the urban space affects the relations and meanings we assign those processes and factors.

Accordingly, the call of my former professor Salvatore Vanasco to design an image of the city Stuttgart, can´t be answered on a purely geographical level. The subjective inner images must be applied as well as the constructed city structure. »
